This chest has carefully placed gaps between planar elements and long, asymmetric drawer pulls. Perfect when combined with the 014 Bed and 016 Bedside Table.
The cabinet top, base and side panels are manufactured from solid planks of American White Oak, joined using wooden dowels and adhesive. Screws disguised with long grain dowels strengthen the connections. The rear panel is plywood with oak veneer on both sides and is slotted into the rebated frame for a seamless connection.
The drawer fronts and handles are solid American White Oak attached to American Basswood drawer sides using dovetail joinery. The base panel of the drawers is made from plywood with a matching veneer, and slots into rebates in the drawer sides for a seamless connection.
The drawers have an internal depth of 5.40".
Hidden metal runners on the underside of the drawers have a sprung "pull back" action.
This cabinet is delivered fully assembled.
