Council for Sustainability
and Eco-practices at SCAD is made up of faculty and staff from the schools
of Building Arts, Communication, Design and Liberal Arts, as well as from the
SCAD communications and student media departments. The council’s mission
is to support SCAD’s sustainability practices and goals to green the curriculum
and the college’s institutional activities by channeling the efforts and
expertise of faculty and staff.
Creative Coast Alliance
recognizes an important shift in American and urban societies: the growing role
of creativity in our economy. We’re a public/private partnership created
by City, County and technology leaders that provides services and engages in
activities to keep Savannah competitive in a creative age. Stated more simply,
we aim to create, grow, attract and provide resources to creative and technology-based
businesses in the Savannah area.
